acorn haven studios

A forever dream of owner/artist, Dawna Magliacano, and her husband, Joe, is to use their home studios to foster and encourage the artists and creatives in their community. A rejuvenated barn/workshop now hosts artists, classes, and studio open houses, and other events on a regular basis.

what is up at Acorn haven STUDIOS:

  • Small changes sometimes are necessary.  PLEASE NOTE:  We are adjusting our Fall 3rd Saturdays to the months of Sept, Oct, Nov starting in 2024.  

  • Lots of new CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS have been added. Our classes and workshops seem to be a great hit. And we love offering them. Some are taught by our studio artists as well as guests artists who come and teach a wide variety of art genres. Everything from sculpture, to painting, to assemblage and blacksmith workshops are up so check them out.

  • The new bathroom was completed in 2023 and in keeping with our eclectic sense of creating we made it a fun space, complete with a “London Phone Booth” door.

  • Sunflowers and wildflower patches are going in again this year, as well as some other landscaping elements. We love to see photographers and artists scheduling opportunities for time among the flowers and antiques.

  • We would love to have folks schedule visits with us. It’s always hoppin around here with all kinds of creative activities. Contact us through the website and tell us when you’d like to stop by.
